Dr.Gopinath's Diagnostic Services, a pioneer in advanced medical diagnostics in Kerala began as a modest scanning center in the year 1991, near the historic Trivandrum Medical College. By 1994 X' ray services were attached to the center to compliment its fast growing Ultrasound Scan and Laboratory Services. The VSSC was the first major organization to recognize these developments and grant approval for the center in 1995. The introduction of the first fully automatic hematology analyzer in 1999 put the center on the golden road to modernization which resulted in the Central Government approval for CGHS as early as 2002.
